The Best of 2016

2016 is now coming to it end and we are a couple of hours left before entering the start of the new year 2017. That said, there were many unexpected things that happened this year and that especially includes deaths of famous celebrities and sports stars.

To get rid of the negative impression about this year, let us look at best stuff that anime offered during this 2016. These are my personal favorites which I had chosen.

Best Anime: Ajin Season 1/ Season 2

Ajin is a supernatural and action thriller anime which aired last Winter 2016 with a follow-up sequel in Fall 2016. The plot of the show revolves around Kei Nagai and his struggle to survive and live as an ‘ajin’. Ajins (“demi-humans”) are immortal human beings that can summon ghosts or IBM (“Invisible Black Matter”) either as their companions or use them to fight as their own personal minions. These beings cannot be killed except that they can be rendered immobilized using tranquilizers and other similar devices.

The show has a very good story. The characters are also likable especially the main villain of both seasons. The CG in the show was well done and that made the facial expressions and gestures of each character quite more real. The action scenes are pretty intense and sometimes put you on the edge of the seat. Overall, I highly recommend this anime especially for those who are avid fans of action-thriller movies and stuff.
