A video teaser from Bandai Namco Entertainment shows us about Virtual Reality (VR) in THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS concert. The title called IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS Viewing Revolution. Perhaps VR here also means Viewing Revolution. In this teaser, you’re shown as a live concert audience taking a seat in a very strategic spot (at least that is what I describe it). With the help of PS VR, you’ll able to experience live concert (in case haven’t had any) of our lovely idols. Playstation Move will serve as your light stick (or glow stick or what ever you call it) to bring more immersion to the experience.
The game will be released on October 13, 2016 limited for Japan only (unfortunately). Bandai Namco describe the game genre as VR Idol Live, something I have never heard until now. In case you didn’t notice, the location takes place in Maihama Amphitheater, the same teather used for IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS 1st Live. Here is a quick comparison of the stage. You can see that it is the same stage although the layout is different.
